Key Responsibilities:

• Menu Planning & Development:Creating and designing menus that reflect the restaurant's concept, considering factors like seasonal ingredients, dietary restrictions, and customer preferences.
• Food Preparation & Quality Control:Overseeing the preparation and cooking of all dishes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality. This includes setting standards for ingredients, cooking techniques, and plating.
• Inventory Management:Managing the ordering, storage, and rotation of ingredients, ensuring sufficient stock levels and minimizing waste.
• Staff Management & Training:Leading and motivating the kitchen team, delegating tasks, providing training, and ensuring a positive and efficient work environment.
• Hygiene & Safety:Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to strict hygiene and food safety regulations.
• Budget Management:Controlling food costs, minimizing waste, and managing kitchen expenses.
• Liaising with Suppliers:Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of fresh and high-quality ingredients.
• Ensuring Operational Efficiency:Overseeing the smooth running of the kitchen, resolving any issues that may arise, and ensuring timely service.
• Staying Updated on Trends:Keeping abreast of new culinary techniques, food trends, and customer preferences to innovate and improve the menu.
