After comparing prices. This shop ( coffee tea & toast) has the lowest price for toast set. $3.20 for coffee c , 2 eggs, white toast bread. I prefer white than brown toasted bread. Will support them again.

Newly open. The Bake House #01-27. Nice muffins and pastries. Tried the chocolate hazelnut tart, sea salt brownie, brown butter banana walnut muffin and classic almond financier. Yummy! Go early as some items sold out after 1 plus.

Food selection is so so. But what’s more concerning are the hawkers. Some hawker stalls have been cheating the elderly of their money claiming money not paid when it was paid. My mom paid for drinks with a $10 note and received change of $6.50. The chicken cost $5.30 and she gave the stall the $5 from the change she received. She was distracted when my nephew approached her, wanting the same dish. An order was made and when leaving, the stall owner claims my mom never paid him. And his claims were that he arranged his $5 notes properly and there isn’t any additional. It’s amusing that money in the hands that is clear can go “missing” while money in the box that is quickly collected while the person was doing both money collection and chopping and serving of food is properly arranged and he knows how much is in his box. Just beware. This is not the first stall that has done that to an elderly. There’s another that did the same thing at ABC Brickworks.

It's definitely a hearty bowl of fish soup with an assortment of prawns and handmade meatballs. Gave it a 4 stars because of its price although I did ordered the red grouper fish soup.

Around 8 years ago when this is setup for those stalls at the hawker near the custom, there doesn’t seems to have much stall and is pretty lousy (might also because I visited it during evening time which most of the stalls are closed 🤔) Fast forward to now after COVID, and when most of the new hawker is manage by private entities, this suddenly give me the feeling of “this is the real Singapore heritage” we are talking about. What needs to be improved, you can found here (robot tray return, clean environment (compare among old hawker centre), and the setup that I remember when I was young. You can see all demographics here (kids, teenagers, young adults, family, grandpa/grandma, uncles/aunties) I thought this is what make hawker centre a unique experience in Singapore. Food wise, so far what I try is average or above average, if this is about 1 stall, than is a 3 stars. However, if it is all stalls like this in 1 location, than it is definitely more than 3 stars. So far what I think you might like; - porridge stall - Vietnamese kopi stall that often bahn mi - traditional kopi stall that offer the breakfast toast set that cost $3.80 (kopi/tea + eggs + bread) which taste the same as ya kun - carrot cake stall with some cutting claiming it as 1 of the top 10 carrot cakes in Singapore - wan tang noodles stalls that is nice - home made Chee cheong fan Plus many others yet to try If you are looking for the one and only, the best stall in Singapore, than this might not be for you. But if you are looking for an old vibe of how Singapore hawker was like in the old days, and want some good food, then definitely give this a try when you are around the area.

Many choices of food but can't go there too early in the morning coz the fans start operate 06:05. The surrounding area was really hot and oily .

📍 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐒𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐞 • 𝐂𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 • 𝐓𝐞𝐚 (𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐰𝐤𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠) Starting our morning right with 𝙎𝙚𝙩 𝘼 ($3.50) that came with 4 kaya toast pieces, 2 eggs and a kopi ‘o’, and 𝙎𝙚𝙩 𝘽 ($2.70) which was similar but without the drink ☀️ Kaya butter toast: Very crispy thin! Just the right thickness of butter, kaya leaned on the less sweet spectrum but could be more fragrant. I liked how they used the traditional brown bread though number of butter slices was inconsistent. Eggs: Yolks were soft and creamy 🍳 Overall, my dad preferred this to Ya Kun due to its affordability and decent quality!! There’s always a queue at this stall despite a few other stalls selling kaya toasts in the same hawker centre, and I can now see why after trying 😋 Follow @iloafbready Instagram for more food reviews! :)

Usually i share my food with dad as he doesn't eat much, I ordered a fish ball noodles and asked for extra small bowl and was charged extra $.10cent(all about business according to the stall owner) Place of eating are clean as well as the wash room. Well ventilation and comfortable enough for a dine in. Wheelchair ramp friendly accessible. Tray returns at various locations. Quite a good selection on hala food and two vegetarian stalls( or maybe 3). Shengsiong supermarket 2nd level (can buy 4D lottery)
